Nancy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with over 30 years of business and financial planning experience. She graduated from Florida State University and then went on to receive a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in finance and accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a licensed agent for life, health, disability, and variable annuities contracts in the state of Florida.
Nancy joined ProVise in March 2000 and brings strong financial management and accounting skills to our team of professionals. She provides her clients with a “hands on” personal financial planning experience. Prior to her career at ProVise, she was a shareholder and Controller for a privately held company in Northern California responsible for accounting, claims and customer service.
Nancy is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay and served on the Board of Directors for over five years. She is a member of the North Carolina Certified Public Accountants. For the past six years, Nancy has served on the Board for Directions for Living, a non-profit organization serving children who are victims of abuse or neglect, and children and adults living with severe or persistent mental illness. She is also active in many other planning and charitable organizations such as the Women in Philanthropy, Pinellas County Estate Planning Council, Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation Planned Giving Advisory Council, Empath/Suncoast Hospice Foundation Professional Partners Council, 100 Women Who Care, and Dunedin Fine Art Center Planned Giving Committee.
Nancy lives in Clearwater and has one daughter, Kathleen, who is a veterinarian in Savannah, Georgia. They both are passionate animal lovers and have fostered kittens for the Humane Society of Pinellas County and the Suncoast Animal League for over five years. Nancy enjoys playing golf, hiking, reading and traveling.
