Tina Tenret, CFP®, CDFA
Tina’s success strategies for clients have been spotlighted in the Wall Street Journal and Financial Planning Magazine. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, she empowers women to protect their savings and plan their futures through the emotion of divorce, death of a spouse, or business changes.
In 2016, Tina was awarded Business Woman of the Year by the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, she was finalist for the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Iconic Woman Award. In 2013, the Business Observer newspaper named Tina as one of 40 Business Leaders Under 40 from Tampa to Naples.
Prior to spending the last decade in financial planning, Tina enjoyed 12 years an award-winning TV news reporter, exposing financial fraud. Her career took her from CNN Financial News Network in London, to working with Katie Couric at NBC’s Today Show, and ultimately reporting on-air nightly for NBC News. She earned the Associated Press Investigative Reporting Award for uncovering financial wrongdoing. She was also publicly recognized by Pennsylvania’s Attorney General for saving taxpayers money and exposing a financial scam. Tina is Vice President of the Athena Society, comprised of Tampa Bay business leaders. She was recently elected for the second time as Co-Chair of the Tampa Bay Collaborative Divorce Group, comprised of the most experienced collaborative divorce attorneys and financial experts. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Finance Committee of the Morton Plant Mease Board of Directors. She founded AchieveHERs Leadership Council, an initiative to support female executives and entrepreneurs. Tina is a graduate of Leadership Pinellas and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay.
In her spare time, Tina sails, cycles, scuba dives, and enjoys international adventure travel, especially African safaris.
