Daniel has nearly 20 years of experience across various financial markets. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst™ (CFA) designation as well as Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 FINRA securities licenses. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance degree from the University of South Florida. In addition to serving as a portfolio manager for clients, Daniel is a Principal of ProVise and serves as Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Daniel Mannix’s Background
Prior to joining ProVise, Daniel most recently spent seven years in institutional equity research at Raymond James & Associates covering the Regional Bank and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) sectors. Prior to that, Daniel served in various institutional sales and trading roles across multiple asset classes at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman, Sachs & Co., and Deutsche Bank AG. He currently serves on the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Center’s Advisory Board at the University of South Florida as well as on the Elder Board for Real Church. He is also a member of the CFA Institute as well as the CFA Society Tampa Bay.
Daniel was born and raised in Tampa Bay. After a stint in New York City, he now spends his time enjoying the beautiful weather and outdoor activities that Florida has to offer with his wife Esther and their son Daniel II. Daniel and his wife are also active members in the community, volunteering with their church.
