Tom Harrington is the Director of Retirement Plans at ProVise Management Group, where he leads the firm’s qualified plan advisory services. With over 25 years of experience in the retirement plan and financial services industry, he specializes in helping businesses design and manage effective 401(k) plans that align with fiduciary best practices and drive positive outcomes for plan sponsors and participants.
Tom Harrington’s Background
Tom currently advises and services more than 40 retirement plans totaling over $200 million in assets, working closely with CFOs, HR directors, and retirement committees to provide strategic guidance, investment oversight, and employee education. He focuses on serving professional practices, non-profit organizations, and closely held businesses across various industries throughout the Tampa Bay area.
He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ (CRPS®), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designations, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of fiduciary excellence. He is actively involved in building strategic partnerships with CPAs, TPAs, and other centers of influence to expand ProVise’s retirement plan footprint.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Oneonta State University. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
