A Safety Harbor native, Josh graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master’s Degree in Financial Analysis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Before joining ProVise, has was engaged in financial management for various construction projects, accounting, and cost controls in the Tampa Bay area.
Joshua Finegold’s Background
Growing up, Josh always had a knack for teaching others including, mixed martial arts, paddle boarding, and skateboarding. In his sophomore year of college, while still figuring out a business major, he purchased some Blue-Chip stocks and learned the power of investing. After securing the last spot in a financial modeling class in Fall 2019, Josh became hooked on creating his own models and used them in his saving and investment decisions. From there, his passion for educating others on financial literacy began, where he mentored 8th grade students, teaching them essential budgeting and financial concepts at Junior Achievement Finance Park.
Layered by outdoor and adventure, Josh partakes in long-distance running, skateboarding, and backpacking. His favorite local spot to hit the trails is Myakka River State Park because of the serenity in the dry prairie. He also enjoys venturing out to the beach and Jeep off-road trips with his family.
