Shane is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, holds a Series 7 FINRA General Securities Representative License and is an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) of ProVise. In addition to serving as an advisor to clients, Shane is a Principal of ProVise and serves as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
Shane O’Hara’s Background
Shane graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF), double majoring in finance and accounting. He is actively involved in the Morton Plant Mease Foundation’s Planned Giving Advisory Society and Skip Cline Society and has served as President of the Board of Directors for Creative Pinellas, a local arts organization dedicated to uplifting art and local artists. Additionally, he volunteers at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. Shane has been with ProVise for more than a decade, bringing a deep commitment to both his clients and the broader community.
Shane, his wife, Julia, and their son, Arthur, live in Tampa. They can be found golfing, playing tennis, or enjoying one of the many dog parks throughout Tampa Bay. Both Shane and Julia were born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida.
